14 years on your side of the counter
Before I built a single website, I spent 14 years in hospitality, front and back of house. On the floor with customers, in the kitchen, and doing the admin after close. That teaches you the setup is everything. When it’s rammed on a Friday night, the only thing between you and chaos is how well the place was organised before the doors opened.
That’s what I bring to your business. I know what a busy shift feels like from both sides, I know what you actually need from your tech, and I build things that hold up when it matters.

Who is Sidedoor Digital for?
Independent businesses who want a website, app or system built around how they actually work. Salons, cafes, restaurants, shops, gyms, tattoo studios, tradespeople, tutors and anyone starting a business online.
What does Sidedoor Digital build?
Custom websites, apps, booking systems, tills and POS, online shops, QR ordering and loyalty, smart assistants and search, automations, integrations and custom software. Plus the everyday stuff like domains, business email and your Google profile.
Where is Sidedoor Digital based?
Southport, Merseyside. Most client work is across Southport, Preston, Liverpool and Birkenhead, and we take on remote projects anywhere in the UK.
How much does it cost?
A fair one off build fee, then a low monthly fee that covers hosting, backups, changes and support. Payment plans are there if you'd rather spread the cost. You get a clear price before anything starts.
What happens after it goes live?
We look after it. Hosting, security, fixes and changes are covered by the monthly fee, and you've got a real person to call. We also keep an eye out for new things that would genuinely help your business.
I’m not techy. Is that a problem?
Not at all, most of my clients aren’t. You tell me how your business runs and what’s driving you mad, and I work out the tech side. You never need to know how any of it works, just that it does.
Why not just use Wix or GoDaddy?
You can, and if that’s the right fit I’ll tell you. The difference is you build those yourself from a template, and bookings, payments and loyalty are separate add ons, each with its own fee and login. I build it for you, around how your business runs, with everything connected and looked after for one monthly fee. When something needs changing, you message me instead of reading a help article.
