Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026. What information Sidedoor Digital collects when you get in touch or use a client studio, and what happens to it.
Who we are
Sidedoor Digital is a sole trader digital build studio run by Jordan, based in Southport, Merseyside, UK. For anything data protection related, contact getsidedoor@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you fill in the contact form, we collect whatever you enter: your name, business name, email address, location and the details of what you need. If you email or message us directly, we hold that correspondence too. If you become a client, we may also hold information needed to build and host your project, such as login details for third-party services you ask us to connect to.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a potential project.
- To deliver, host and maintain a project if you become a client.
- To meet legal or accounting obligations, such as invoicing.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising or pass it to third parties beyond the tools listed below.
Third-party tools we use
- Formspree processes the contact form submission and forwards it to our email. See Formspree’s own privacy policy for how they handle that data in transit.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading this site doesn’t send a request to Google.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers used to keep this site and client projects online.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond and, if relevant, follow up. Client records are kept for as long as the project is live plus any period required for tax or accounting purposes, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to be contacted. Email getsidedoor@gmail.com and we’ll sort it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you’re not happy with how a request is handled.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the site or tools change. The date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
This policy is written in plain English for a small, single-operator business and isn’t a substitute for formal legal advice.
